Myra Kirmani
I’m a Year 11 student and have always had a passion for learning and a natural drive to succeed.
Besides triple science, maths and English language and literature, I have chosen to study History, Psychology, Economics and Computer Science at GCSE. These courses have allowed me to explore diverse aspects of the world whist boosting my problem solving, critical thinking and content-retention skills. Specifically, science is my primary area of interest and has encouraged me to compete in the Global Innovation Challenge multiple times.
Apart from academics, I am an avid debater and have partaken in, and helped coach students for tournaments such as Gulf Debates, World Scholars Cup and Model United Nations. I am a TEDx speaker and have previously been a member of the Student Council. I thoroughly enjoy theatre and drama and have participated in various Musical Productions and short films.
Outside of that, I am a huge Harry Potter, Greek Mythology, Dystopian Fiction and Politics enthusiast.
